Description: This informative webinar will present examples of scalable, replicable models and ideas at the local, state, and national level that can be implemented by any agency at any level, including examples of low-cost and no-cost activities and programs. Several examples of Arts in Parks case studies with lessons learned will give you ideas you can adapt such as an overview of the National Park Service's "Arts Afire" initiative with a case study from the New Bedford Whaling National Historic Park; an international children's nature art competition called "Get to Know Your Wild Neighbors" that any agency can join, and examples of how to develop hands-on art programs for the public and ways that parks can be excellent venues for art. Presenters will include a panel of experts who will tell the story of how they have successfully implemented exciting arts programs at the local, urban, state, and national levels.
