Description:
The following presentation will give an overview of USA Archery, its partnerships, programs, and events and will conclude with a representative from Easton Foundations discussing what is involved in creating a community archery facility. The presentation will begin with a short explanation of why archery is a viable sporting option for parks and recreation departments to implement and will then move into a more detailed explanation of the programs offered by USA Archery. Included in this discussion will be the Junior Olympic Archery Development program, Adult Archery Achievement, JOAD Xperience, JOAD Camps, and the After School Archery Program, as well as the instructor certification program offered by USA Archery, elite training and coaching opportunities, and Para Archery options.
