Learn about opportunities for parks and recreation and how to effectively advocate for adequate federal investment in parks and recreation at the state and local levels. Learn about current and emerging national issues which are shaping public policy and legislation being deliberated on Capitol Hill. Topics will include all federal legislation related to NRPA's public policy platform and the role parks and recreation plays in building healthy,livable, and economically competitive communities throughout the country. Additionally, we will address how to leverage federal resources at the local level.
