Not surprisingly, childhood obesity is a major health issue worldwide. While public and government agencies are strategizing for a solution, viable treatment and prevention programs at the private health/fitness club level may be the solution. Childhood Obesity—Treatment and Outreach discusses appropriate exercise programming efforts for youth and offers ideas for community outreach.
